Customise your QR's branding
Every QR NFC Tap QR is fully customisable on the Free plan.
What you can change
- Foreground + background colour — any hex. QR NFC Tap runs a contrast check (must be ≥ 4:1 for reliable scan).
- Logo in the centre — PNG/SVG, up to 30% of QR area. Auto-padded with a white circle if uploaded with transparency.
- Dot shape — square, rounded, dot, circle, leaf.
- Eye shape (the three big squares in the corners) — square, rounded square, circle.
- Eye fill — separate from the body colour.
- Frame + caption — optional border with custom text below the QR.
Scannability score
We compute a scannability score 1-10 as you design. Below 7 the QR may fail on phones in low light or at distance — we warn you before saving.
Output formats
- PNG: 4096 × 4096, sRGB, 300 DPI, transparent background option
- SVG: vector, infinite scale
- PDF: print-ready CMYK, with bleed if requested
- EPS: for legacy print workflows
Tips for printing on cards
- Minimum size: 12mm × 12mm for reliable scans on phones with ~5MP cameras
- Quiet zone (white margin around): keep ≥ 10% of QR width
- Avoid CMYK conversions that shift the foreground darker than the background — re-test scannability after print
