AI QR Art

QR NFC Tap includes an AI-generated QR art tool. Generate a QR code that looks like artwork — abstract patterns, photographic scenes, brand-specific designs — that still scans reliably on any phone camera.

How it works

1. Pick a base QR type — vCard, URL, anything. The QR data underlies the art.
2. Pick a style — landscape, portrait, abstract, geometric, brand-colour, custom prompt.
3. AI renders 4 variants — each maintains scannability while varying the artistic interpretation.
4. Pick the favourite, fine-tune the scannability dial — slide between "more artistic" and "more reliable".
5. Download — print-ready PNG / SVG at 4096px.

Scannability score

Every render shows a score 1-10. Below 7 we warn that some phone cameras may struggle. We test on iPhone 11+ and modern Android cameras for the score.

Behind the scenes

We use Stable Diffusion 1.5 + ControlNet QR Pattern Code, hosted on our infrastructure (no data sent to third parties beyond OpenAI's safety filter on the prompt).

Best practices

• Strong contrast between QR-functional pixels and decorative areas helps scan reliability
• Avoid placing the logo over the eye corners (the three big square markers — they're load-bearing)
• Test print on the actual material (matte vs gloss) before committing — gloss reflections sometimes defeat camera autofocus
